Moorwild cattle — cow and calf on Somerset grassland

Moorwild Beef · Somerset Levels and Moors

Beef with a
wilder story.

Sustainable  ·  Slow grown  ·  Grass fed

High-quality beef from cattle at the heart of a grass-based farming system on the Somerset Levels — producing food while helping manage the landscape around them.

Our cattle are raised in a grass-based farming system that includes permanent grassland and seasonally flooded land. Slow-grown on grass, with no unnecessary inputs.

When a batch is available, we sell direct as beef boxes, so you know exactly where your meat comes from and how the animals were raised. Beef is released periodically rather than being available all year round.
