The idea

Making better use of
the whole animal.

Tallow — rendered beef fat — has been used for centuries as a skincare ingredient. It's rich, stable and closely compatible with the skin's own composition.

Moorwild Skin starts with the tallow from our own cattle on the Somerset Levels. Knowing exactly where it comes from, how the animals were raised and what they ate isn't a marketing claim — it's something we can actually trace.

We're interested in producing something genuinely good, not in adding another product to a crowded market. The range will be small and the ingredient list short.

  • Provenance

    Tallow from our own grass-fed cattle on the Somerset Levels. We know exactly where it comes from.

  • Simplicity

    Short ingredient lists. Nothing that doesn't need to be there.

  • Whole animal

    Using the whole animal well is part of how we think about farming. Moorwild Skin is part of that.

  • Honest production

    Not claiming more than we can stand behind.
